She was a devoted social worker, a nurturing mother and grandmother , a child of God-almighty

and a cherished friend to all who knew her. Cuca peacefully left this world on December 17

2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 16 1957, she was the epitome of grace, compassion, and selflessness. She was a

beacon of light, always putting others before herself and going above and beyond to help those

in need within her family and community. Her genuine warmth and unwavering love touched the

As a mother, Cuca was a guiding force, leading by example with her strong moral values and

unwavering support. She instilled in me the importance of family, perseverance, and kindness.

Her love knew no bounds, and she always made sure to create a loving and nurturing home for

  her son and grandchildren.

Cuca possessed a unique ability to make each of us feel special and loved, and her absence

leaves an irreplaceable void in our lives.

Beyond her role as a mother and grandmother, Cuca was also a dedicated friend, social worker

  and confidante.

Her infectious smile, genuine interest in others, and comforting presence made her the go-to

  person for advice and support.

She had an angelic ability to make everyone feel valued and heard, and her friendship along

with her words of wisdom, strength and acceptance was a true blessing.

In her free time, Cuca enjoyed reading, dancing, feeding the wildlife in her mothers back yard,

participating in church functions, spending time with her son & grand-children and going to the

beach followed by eating seafood which was her favorite.

Her enthusiasm and zest for life were contagious, and she always managed to find joy in the

  simplest of things.

Whether it was tending to her beloved mother or spending quality time with her family, friends

and co-workers alike, she radiated happiness and contentment.

As a alumni of Norwalk Community College, and Sacred Heart University, she achieved her

Masters Degree in Social Services in which she dedicated a vast portion of her life to the

communities of Norwalk & Bridgeport Connecticut, helping those who’s voices needed to be
