Lucretia Peluso, a lifelong resident of Norwalk, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, at the age of 76.

Born at Norwalk Hospital and raised in the city she loved, Lucretia graduated from Norwalk High School and went on to build a fulfilling career at CR Gibson. She was known for her hard work, kind nature, and dedication to those around her.

Lucretia found joy in life’s simple pleasures — spending time in her garden growing a variety of vegetables, preparing delicious meals for her family, and cherishing moments with those she loved most. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for her family were the cornerstones of her life.

She is survived by her devoted son and four beloved grandchildren, all of whom brought immense pride and happiness into her life.

A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Lucretia’s life. In remembrance, her family encourages others to honor her memory by sharing a home-cooked meal or planting something in her spirit — gestures that reflect the care and nurturing heart she shared so freely.

A public visitation for friends will be held on Saturday May 10, 2025 from 8:00 till 9:45 am at the Raymond Funeral Home 5 East Wall Street in Historic Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church on East Ave, Norwalk. Burial in St. John's Cemetery will follow.
