“Beloved daughter, sister and aunt”
Louise Victoria Howes, 55, of Norwalk CT. passed away in her home on July 26, 2022.
Louise was born on June 24, 1967 in New York City. Throughout her lifetime, she was able try her hand in different professions, from dentistry at UMDNJ, to graduating from Katharine Gibbs, and finally fulfilling her true calling by becoming a nurse. She was truly living her best life, as she worked at what she called “the best job ever” at Danbury Hospital, devoting most of her time there doing what she loved most – helping those in need. Louise led a bright and vivid life, often lighting up a room by her mere presence. Her sense of humor was beyond compare, with her sarcastic and spot-on observations that would always send the masses into fits of laughter. She was an avid animal lover, and especially loved her own cats, who she took great humor in giving “human” names. She lovingly and joyfully embraced her role as aunt “Tita” to her nephew and two nieces, and always enjoyed spending time with friends and family whenever she wasn’t working. She will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Louise is survived by her father, Paul Howes, of North Branford, CT, her siblings Matthew Howes (Annie Howes) of Eden, Utah, and Julia (Howes) Gomez-Blanco (Javier Gomez-Blanco) of East Brunswick, NJ, and her nephew and niece, Aidan Gomez-Blanco and Olivia Gomez-Blanco of East Brunswick, NJ and her niece Bridget Slomka of Boston, MA.
There will be a private family service for Louise on August 20, 2022 in Norwalk, CT.
