NORWALK, CONN Louise M. (DeRosa) DeMare, 77, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, March 08, 2011 at the Wilton Meadows, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Born in New Canaan, Conn on May 12, 1933, Louise was the daughter of the late Vincent and Catherine (Manchuck) DeRosa. Louise was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, who will be missed by all. She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Bloom and her husband Norman and Doreen Kenefic and her husband Jon, all of Norwalk; four grandchildren, Anthony and Kristina Luciani and James and Jeanne Bloom; a brother, Nicholas DeRosa of Florida; many nieces and nephews. Preceding in death were two brothers, Jack and Vincent "Judge" DeRosa and a sister, Gloria Decato. The DeMare family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, March 10, 2011 in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street from 4:00PM - 8:00PM. Louise's funeral will be held on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 10:15AM from the parlor, when the funeral cortege will proceed to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00PM.
