Resident of Norwalk Linda C. Volpe age 68, of Norwalk, CT, passed away Tuesday June 23, 2015. Linda was born on May 1, 1947 in Stamford, CT and was a daughter to the late Michael A. Parrino and Stella J. Parrino. She was predeceased by her brother Michael J. Parrino of Winter Springs, FL. Linda was self-employed as an office manager. She had a love for baking and Sunday lunches with her at the head of the table was a family tradition where her door was always open to everyone. Linda was known for her selfless acts of kindness, always putting others needs before her own. She loved everyone and would listen with her heart as well as her ears. Any conversation would include her sarcasm, quick wit and infectious laugh. If anyone was blessed enough to talk with her they knew that her grandchildren were the light of her life. She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Thomas V. Volpe, her son Thomas A. Volpe (Sage), and two daughters Michele L. Volpe and Tammy Carroll (Scott). "Mima" was the adored grandmother of Allyson, Tiffany, Justin, Skylar, Tommy, Michael, Ava and Siena. In addition she is survived by several nieces and nephews. A memorial service celebrating Linda's life will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 10 am at St. Mathew Catholic Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06850. In lieu of flowers the family will be accepting donations to help offset unforeseen incidentals.
