Lilton Sample, 88 of Norwalk, CT, has departed from this life peacefully at his home on Saturday July 17, 2021.

Lilton was born in Exmore, VA on August 21, 1932, to the late James and Celia Sample, both farmers in Exmore.

Lilton is predeceased by his wife Cora Sample, daughter Diana Sebastian, brothers Milton Sample and Richard Drummond, son in law David Murphy, grandson Trenell Murphy and nephew Gene Savage Jr.

Lilton will be missed by many and leaves behind to cherish his memory: his daughter Cathy Murphy of Baltimore, MD. His sister Alease Savage, His grandson Michael Sample (Lorreen Sample), of Winston Salem, NC, grandson Sean Vanhorse (Julie Vanhorse),

grandson Devin Murphy (Cusheer Murphy) both from Deleware, MD. Granddaughter Nicole Williams (Mack Anthony Goethe) of Norwalk, CT, grandson Corey Williams (Shawntia Williams) of Winston Salem, NC. and nephew Antonio Savage.

Lilton has 14 great grandchildren: Sydne, Solomon, Khaki, Jace,

Felicia (Glendell Thomas), Malik, Makayla, Nicholas (Brandy Ramos), Victor Jr., Corey Jr., Corey R,. Angelika, Naya, Marcus.
