Leslie A. Vinck

​Leslie Ann Vinck, 70, a lifelong resident of Norwalk, passed away on January 10 after a long illness. She is survived by her son, Jonathan Pluff of Norwalk, her sister Sharon Simons of Rocky Mount, NC, two nieces, Monica Lane of Norwalk and Erica Lane of Seymour. She also leaves her great-niece Haleigh Hayden and great nephew, Logan Hayden, both of Seymour. Leslie is also survived by her boyfriend, Joseph Maher, and her "sisters of choice" Marna Lombardo and Linda Kriewald. She is predeceased by her mother, Cecile (Burke) Vinck and her father, Nestor Vinck, both from Norwalk. Leslie owned her own advertising agency, Richard Lawrence Associates in Norwalk for many years, and then pursued and received her Master's Degree in Special Education from Fairfield University. She was a Special Education teacher until her retirement, having taught in both the Stamford and Bridgeport school systems. Services and burial will be private.
