Leola D. Kellogg

Leola Kellogg age 98, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2016 surrounded by family. Leola was predeceased by her loving husband and best friend, Edward L. Kellogg, with whom she was married over 50 years. Loving mother of Leola (John) Fitteron of Jupiter FL, Ronald Kellogg of Norwalk and Linda (Peter) Madaffari of Norwalk. Adored grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 5 (soon to be 6). Leola was born in Norwalk, CT, and resided there her entire life. She graduated (a year early) from Norwalk High School, was married at St. Mary's Church and was a longtime member of the Columbiettes. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her amazing positive attitude and her love of the Yankees. Friends may greet the family on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in Norwalk’s Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday 10:00 AM in St. Mary’s Church, Norwalk. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Norwalk.
