NORWALK, CONN Kathleen E. Pelletier of Norwalk passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2009 in Norwalk Hospital, after being stricken ill at home. Born in Stamford on February 6, 1946 she was 63. Kathy relocated to Norwalk at a young age and was educated through local schools. On April 29, 1967, she married her beloved husband of forty-one years, Donald J. Pelletier, Sr. Kathy was a homemaker who loved providing for her family. She enjoyed surrounding herself amongst her grandchildren and great grandson and making everyone smile. An avid shuffleboard player, Kathy was a member of the VJ's Bubbettes and played faithfully at the PAC here in Norwalk. She also enjoyed playing cards. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Ronald J. Pelletier of Norwalk and Donald J. Pelletier, Jr. of Bridgeport; a brother, Joseph J. Bruno Sr. and sister, Lilli M. Rodia, both of Norwalk; six grandchildren, Ronald Jr., Kendi, Cody, Donald III, Danielle and Shawn; one great grandson, Xavier; several nieces, nephews and friends. Kathy's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, June 1, 2009 in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street from 2:00PM to 3:00PM. Her funeral will be held in the parlor, at the conclusion of calling hours, 3:00PM. Rev. Dr. Tomi Thomas of St. Matthew R.C. Church, Norwalk will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Kindly omit flowers.
