Karen Eisenbach, 62, passed away suddenly on May 30, 2023, at her home in Norwalk, CT. Karen was the epitome of love and positivity and has left a tremendous legacy of caring and thoughtfulness. We miss her so much already.
Karen was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 17, 1960. She grew up in Newark and graduated from Newark High School in 1979 and, then, The Ohio State University in 1983. She lived for many years in Bexley, where she and Dan raised their family, before moving to Connecticut in 2015. Karen cared deeply about her community and was dedicated to improving lives through her work. Karen’s career spanned 40 years across senior leadership roles at BancOhio, Nationwide, JP Morgan, and Voya Financial, where she most recently served as the Chief Marketing Officer of Retirement.
She is survived by her beloved husband Dan Yee, children Aly and Chris Yee, treasured cats Murphy and Spike, brothers George (Amy) and Bob (Barb), brother in-law Ken Yee, sister-in-law Kim Yee, nephews, nieces, and many treasured friends and colleagues. She was preceded in death by her parents Catherine and George, and older brothers Greg and Bill.
In lieu of sending flowers, we invite you to make a donation to Creative Spirit, an organization Karen cared deeply about and for which she proudly served on the Board of Directors. Donations can be made at online at http://bit.ly/CreativeSpiritDonation_ForKaren, by Venmo to @creative-spirit, or by check to 183 McLain Street, Mount Kisco, NY 10549.
To honor Karen’s memory, we will hold a Celebration of Life on June 16, 2023, from 6-9 pm at Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley, Ohio. Karen lived her life boldly and with great style so we ask that attendees “pop” their collar, or wear a bright scarf and just show your own style. Details for the celebration can be found at https://pp.events/kle2023
There will be no services in Connecticut.
