Judith B. Manko

Judith B. Manko age 78, lifelong Norwalk resident, beloved wife of the late Steve E. Manko, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Waveny Care Center. She was born on September 2, 1938 and was a daughter to the late Peter and Margaret Yobbagy Barate.  Judy graduated from Norwalk High School in 1956 and had worked at the C.R. Gibson Company in the purchasing department for many years.

She is survived by her loving daughter Sharon Visciglia and her husband Joseph of Norwalk; a brother Robert Barate and his wife Lynn of Norwalk; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Ronnie Visciglia; two nieces, Lindsey Buono and her husband Matt and Marissa Barate, as well as many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Judith enjoyed time spending time with her family and especially her Grandchildren.  She was a lifelong  member of the Calvin Reformed Church and Consistory.

Friends are invited to greet the family on Monday April 10, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in Norwalk’s Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home and Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 11, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Calvin Reformed Church, 19 Lexington Ave. Norwalk. (Procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 AM.)
