Juana Bolanos

Juana  Bolaños, 101, peacefully passed away on June 24, 2023.  She was born to the late Balvina Morales and late Justo Castillo on May 5, 1922 in Escuintla, Guatemala.

Juana was a resident of CT for many years. Prior to moving to CT, she lived most of her life  in her beloved country of Guatemala.  She graduated as a teacher in Sewing and worked many years as a formal dress designer and seamstress. She was also a devoted housewife.  She was a giving woman, always ready to help someone in need and was grateful to those who helped her and her loved ones. She was a hard working, traditional woman with strong values. She was a devout Christian who always preached the importance of God’s word.  She was Coca-Cola’s number one fan.

Juana was predeceased by her husband of over forty years, Jose Emilio Bolaños, with whom she shared five children. She is survived by 4 children, 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Juana Bolaños, 101 años, falleció pacíficamente el 24 de Junio de 2023. Nació del difunto Balvina Morales y del difunto Justo Castillo el 5 de Mayo de 1922 en Escuintla, Guatemala.

Juana fue residente de CT durante muchos años. Antes de mudarse a CT, vivió la mayor parte de su vida en su querido país, Guatemala. Se graduó como Maestra de Costura y trabajó muchos años como diseñadora de vestidos formal y de costurera. También era una ama de casa devota. Ella era una mujer generosa, siempre dispuesta a ayudar a alguien que lo necesitaba y siempre agradecida con aquellos que la ayudaron an ella y a sus seres queridos. Era una mujer trabajadora y tradicional con fuertes valores. Ella era una Cristiana devota que siempre predicaba la importancia de la palabra de Dios. Era la fan número uno de Coca-Cola.

Juana fue anticipada a la presencia De Dios por su esposo de más de cuarenta años, José Emilio Bolaños, con quien compartió cinco hijos. Le sobreviven 4 hijos, 14 nietos y 19 bisnietos.
