Juan Carlos Benitez

Juan Carlos Benitez, Age: 49, r esided in Stratford CT. Juan passed away on February 2, 2022, in Bridgeport CT.

He was born in San Pedro Sula on April 8, 1972, and raised in Norwalk, CT. Juan graduated from Norwalk High School in 1990 and was a member of their wrestling team.

Juan’s favorite pastime was listening to music and beat mixing on his turntables. Those who knew him, know that he enjoyed dancing to House music and one fun fact about Juan was that he was featured on MTV’s “The Grind” in the early 90’s. Juan enjoyed traveling. His favorite destination was visiting his homeland, Honduras, and visiting its beaches, specifically Roatan, Bay Islands. He also loved to visit Copan Ruins and was an avid collector of anything Mayan. He loved riding around town in his red Ford Mustang listening to tunes and enjoying time with friends and family. Juan was a very spiritual individual and loved to read the Holy Bible in his spare time. Juan was taken too soon from us, and we are heartbroken with his sudden passing.

Juan is survived by his parents Salomon Benitez, and Betty Benitez, who reside in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. His siblings Wendy Benitez, Erika Estevez, Keyla Benitez, and Salomon Benitez Jr., Niece and Nephews Sabine Ramirez, Christian Estevez Jr., and Justin Estevez. Brother in-laws Christian Estevez and Miguel Ramirez. In addition to aunts, uncles and cousins who reside in CT and Honduras.
