Josephine Masi, 86, of Fairfield, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 27, 2014 at Ludlowe Health Center in Fairfield She was born in Sioux City, IA on July 6, 1927, one of three children of the late Daniel and Catherine (Stabile) Daly. Josephine was the beloved wife of the late John Masi Sr., her husband of 66 years, who predeceased her in December 2012. She is survived by her two sons John Jr., of Norwalk, Jerry and his wife Renie of Flower Mound, TX, two grandchildren Andrew of Fairfield and Amanda of Flower Mound, TX, sister Rose Lasprogato of Norwalk, and many nephews and nieces and friends also survive. In addition to her parents and her husband, she is predeceased by younger sister Mary Troy. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 9:30 am, at St. Mary's Church, 669 West Avenue, Norwalk. Interment to follow at St. John Cemetery also in Norwalk.
