Josephine Briganti BRIGANTI-Josephine Briganti age 76 of Bethel passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on November 19, 2012 in Cambridge Manor, Fairfield. Mrs. Briganti was born on September 12, 1936 in Bronx, New York and was a daughter to the late John and Elvira China Pugliese. Josephine was the loving wife of the late Michael F. Briganti, she was a retired Nutritionist at Norwalk Hospital. "The family has fond memories of her big, delicious Sunday dinners. And she absolutely adored and wrapped herself up in her grandchildren" Mrs. Briganti is survived by her loving children, Linda Stoller and her husband Harvey of Port St. Lucy, Fla.; John Briganti and his wife Mary of Long Island, N.Y.; Michael A Briganti, Jr. of Milford; and Martin Briganti and his wife Jennifer of Stratford; 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to greet the family on Friday November 23, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. A Mass of Christian Burial Will be celebrated on Saturday November 24, 2012 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at the Church of St. Mary , 26 Dodgingtown Road, Bethel.
