Joseph R. Socci
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph R Socci, of Norwalk, CT. He bravely championed over his diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer and fought for two more beautiful years full of memories with his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Marianne, his 5 children: Joseph, Ricia, Gabriela, Madison, and Emma, and his 2 grandchildren: Emily and Joseph. Family meant the world to him. Whether it was comforting and teaching his children, working hard to provide for them, or helping his siblings and mother, Joe was a man you could count on. Besides his family, Joe’s next greatest love was fishing. And there was no greater joy for him than to share his passion with the people he cared about most. Whether he knew you from the work-shop, the local bakery, “back-in-the-day” or the newest shop on the corner, Joe had a wonderful ability to bring a smile to anyone’s face and make you feel appreciated. His huge smile, deep belly-laugh and strong hugs will be missed by any who truly knew him. But none more than his family. For he was the one who taught us what “family” means. We hope to carry on his memory by working hard, loving harder, and never giving up on catching life’s biggest fish.
