Joseph J. Benincaso BENINCASO-Joseph J. Benincaso age 68, beloved husband of Arlene Falasco Benincaso of Norwalk, died Wednesday November 21, 2012 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Joseph was born on November 20, 1944 and was a son to the late Frank and Victoria Christiano Benincaso. He was a retired Warehouse Supervisor for the Caspari Company and served in the U.S. Army in the late 1960's. Survivors in addition to his wife include a brother Carmine "Judgie" Benincaso and his wife Mary of Norwalk and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, James and Frank "Junior" Benincaso, Jr. Friends are invited to greet the family on Sunday November 25, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday November 26, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of the Assumption, 98 Riverside Ave. Westport. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Critical Care Unit of Neurology at Yale New Haven Hospital.
