Jose A. Villafane Umpierre was born to the late Geraldo Villafane and Juana Umpierre an agriculture and a homemaker, in San Lorenzo Puerto Rico. Jose was a longtime resident in Norwalk CT retired in 1997 and moved to back to his homeland Puerto Rico where he lived until April 2021. During his younger years of his life dancing and traveling. He enjoyed watching wrestling and cock fights. He also enjoyed keeping his home immaculately clean. He made it a point to put a smile on anyone's face. and providing a warm home made cooked meal to his neighbors. José is survived by 2 children and was pre- deceased by 3 brothers: Justino Villafane, Candido Villafane and Juan José Villafane as well as 2 sisters: Gertrudes Silva - Villafane and Hipolita Perez - Villafane. José is survived by 3 sisters and 1 brother Carmen L. Villafane, Carmen Lopez- Villafane, Maria Luisa Villafane and Victor Manuel Villafane. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and Cousins who loved him dearly and will miss him immensely.
