Jose "Pancho" Jimenez age 85, a lifelong Norwalk resident, passed away Saturday January 11, 2014 in Norwalk Hospital. He was born in Puerto Rico on January 2, 1929 and was a son to the late Luis Palacio & Leoncia Jimenez. Jose was a retired Polisher for the Plate & Specialties Co. Pancho's family was the joy of his life, he is survived by two sons, Roy & Rudy Jimenez; three daughters, Carmen, Cindy & Erica Jimenez, all of Norwalk; a brother Jaime Morales of Bridgeport; a sister Rose Morrone of PA; two sisters-in-law, Cynthia & Jacklyn; nine grandchildren, Ray, Tony, Sasha, Matthew, Justin, Daijah, Bryce, Alyssa and Dylan; several nieces & Nephews. Friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday January 15, 2014 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. Funeral service will be held on Thursday 10:00 am At the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Norwalk.
