John R, Rey age 72, beloved husband to Rosemarie Piscitelli Rey, passed away on October 17, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born on June 20, 1943 in Manhattan, NY and was a son to the late Raymond & Rose Pazilla Rey. John was a proud U.S. Marine veteran that served our country in the Vietnam War. He was a self-employed Electrical Contractor for many years. Survivors in addition to his loving wife Rosemarie include, a son Raymond Rey of Boston, MA; two daughters Lisa Rey Marks of Denver, CO and Dana Holgerson of Norwalk; two brothers Richard and Anthony Rey both of Queens, NY and six cherished grandchildren. Friends are invited to attend a funeral mass on October 26, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 216 Scribner Ave, Norwalk. Entombment with full military honors will follow at St. John's Mausoleum, Norwalk. The Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
