John M. Ciliberto

John M. Ciliberto, 52, of Westport died peacefully at home on December 3, 2019.  John was born in Norwalk on June 16, 1967, and was the son of Salvatore M. Ciliberto and the late Angelina Bonaddio Ciliberto.

In addition to his father, John is survived by his loving sister, Rosanne Ciliberto Reyes and her husband Jose, two nieces; Alexis Morales, Rachel Reyes, and a nephew David Reyes.

John was a self-employed Computer Technician, who took great pride in his work. He had a true talent for fixing computers, as well as for sketching and drawing.  He was a passionate athlete and avid sports fan.  He played football for Norwalk High School and loved the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He also enjoyed playing darts.

He cherished time with his family and friends, and was very proud of his nieces and nephew for all of their accomplishments.  He carried his faith with him everywhere and in everything he did.  John will be remembered for his larger than life personality, and ability to always make you laugh.  He will be dearly missed by his family.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Hoyt-Cognetta/Raymond Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street, Norwalk.  Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery and will be private at the family’s request.
