Joanna Mary Mount age 77 of Norwalk, passed away on March 25, 2013 in Norwalk Hospital. She was born on April 4, 1935 in Buffalo, New York and was a daughter to the late Edmond A and Charlotte R. Wojciechowska Maraszek. Joanna was devoted to her children, she was an avid gardener, enjoyed bowling & boating. Survivors include her beloved daughters, Roberta Pera and her husband Ronald of Branford; Jamie Kircher of Norwalk and Karen L. Mount of Stratford; three loving sons, Douglas J. Mount and his wife Di Ann of Wallingford; Clyde J. Mount and his wife Sheri of Norwalk; Eric D. Mount of Norwalk; thirteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday March 27, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. A Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday March 28, 2013 at 11:00 am directly at Talmadge Hill Community Church, Talmadge Hill Rd. New Canaan. Entombment will be private and at a later date.
