Jerome P. Denner

Jerome Denner, age 64 of Monroe CT, and longtime resident of Norwalk CT, passed away peacefully on March 26th, 2024, at St. Vincent's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 3rd, 1959, in Norwalk CT to parents Leonard and Pauline Denner. He graduated from Norwalk High School in 1977 and had already begun working for LJ Denner & Sons inc., his father's Heating and Air Conditioning business . He continued working in the family business until he eventually took over himself in 2019.

He was born Jerome Patrick Denner, but those who knew him called him Jerry. He loved most sports, playing softball for decades into his adult life. Countless summers spent with his teammates, friends and family down at Calf Pasture Beach always held a place in his heart. His favorite name however was undoubtedly Dad.  He truly set the bar for what a father can be, serving as a voice of reason, caution, and concern, all the while pushing his children to climb, jump, dream and dare to push themselves time and time again. His love for his children and grandchildren was other worldly, and will surely continue to move us all for generations to come.

He is survived by his four children, Derek, Alex, Nikki, and Jarett; his three grandchildren, DJ, Hunter, and Warren; his siblings Denise, Bob, and Keri; his father Leonard; and his dog Jake.

There will be a Memorial Mass on Friday, April 5th 10:00am at St Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave, Norwalk CT.
