Jeanette Simons

Jeanette Simmons was a beautiful woman who cared for everyone and smiled from morning to night. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for several years, making other families whole just like hers. Through all, she laughed and helped everyone around her laugh too.

Jeanette Simmons, 58, passed on September Twenty Fourth at 7:30 pm. Born in Stamford Connecticut on March 29th, Jeanette lead a colorful life brightened by moments of happiness, laughter and family.

Graduating from Norwalk High, she began a life of caregiving that started by retaining her degree in caregiving before starting at Norwalk Hospital and spanning over many years. People knew from her bright smile and warm laugh that she’d give them a taste of the happiness only she had access too. Whether watching movies or going thrift shopping or even care giving, she kept an energy about her that radiated like a sun beam.

She is survived by her children Anthony and Setierah Preston along with her parents Inell and Mose Wilson along with her twin Jeffrey Wilson, and Siblings Lisa Bogus, Aletha Wilson, and Anthony Wilson along with nieces and nephews, cousins and grandchildren. We are very sad that she is gone, but happy she is returning to the father in heaven.
