James Earl Thibeault

James was born on July 1st 1948 in Springfield Massachusetts to Grace Thibeault and Paul Thibeault. He was raised in Stamford, CT on Ogden Road and he resided in Norwalk, CT throughout his adult life.

James was predeceased by his Mother Grace Thibeault, his Father Paul Thibeault, and his beloved Niece Melanie Poccia. He is survived by his sister Judy, nephew Frank, niece Nicole, and grand nephew's  Peter, Xavier, and Riker.

James went to Norwalk State Technical College for Electro-Mechanical Design. His careers consisted of drafting as well as CAD design at Pitney Bowes, Digitime INC., Bunker Ramo Corp., General DataCom, and Tie Communications. His final job was as a Professional Transit Driver with Wheels for the City of Norwalk.

James loved boating, fishing, and all things nautical. He was a creative soul and would spend his time building clocks, and preserving moments in time that he cherished most with his photography. He was an avid music collector, and would love meeting with friends and watching live bands at Norwalk Beach.

During his final years he resided in Broad River Homes in Norwalk, CT and became the unofficial "mayor" of the facility. He cherished the friends he made, and delighted in hosting movie night, going to bingo, and he especially enjoyed lending a helping hand to his fellow residents.

His joyful spirit, compassionate drive to help others, and his playful humor has had a lasting impact on those that knew him closely. He will be dearly missed by his family, his buddies, as well as his beloved squirrel Daisy.
