Jackie Albert, 87, of Norwalk, Connecticut, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on February 16, 2026. Born on September 25, 1938, in Larchmont, New York, she was the daughter of Virginia and Arthur Mancini.
In 1963, she married Gordon Albert, and together they built a home beside Jackie’s childhood house — a place filled with family, laughter, and lifelong memories. Jackie was a talented graphic artist and an avid gardener, passions that reflected her creativity and patience.
She found her greatest joy in her family and in her garden. Whether tending her flowers or preparing a meal for those she loved, she nurtured everything around her with care and devotion. Like her garden, which was vibrant, steady, and full of quiet beauty — Jackie’s life was rooted in kindness, strength, and gentle wisdom that shaped generations and will continue to guide those who loved her.
Jackie was predeceased by her parents and her beloved husband, Gordon. She is survived by her brother Art Mancini, her three children, Chris (Karen), Valerie (Patrick) and Rachel (Kevin); her seven grandchildren, Mick, Jane, Mary, Kaitlyn, Caroline, Sam and Ashli; as well as dear friends who will forever carry her love with them. Though she will be deeply missed, the seeds she planted in all of us will continue to bloom.
Visitation will be held at Raymond Funeral Home in Norwalk, CT on February 26, 2026 from 3:00 till 7:00 pm with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 pm. (Zoom link for service will be posted soon) Family gathering on Friday February 27th at 10:00 am and a burial service at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY at Noon. Please visit www.Raymond.Care to leave an online condolence for the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Jackie’s memory to the Norwalk Garden Club, 62 Ledgebrook Drive, Norwalk, CT 06854 and the Norwalk Senior Center, organizations she devoted her time and heart to during the past 16 years.
