Jacqueline Anne Basil

Jacqueline Anne Basil passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2021 at the age of 50.

Jacqueline was born on March 13, 1970 in Bridgeport, CT and resided in Connecticut for most of her life.

She was a beloved mother, daughter and sister who will be missed dearly by her family and friends.  Jackie is survived by her two children, Gianni Biasetti Jr. and Mackenzie Lang McGonigle. She is also survived by her mother, Margaret Basil and her three siblings, Robert (Sharon) Basil,  Pamela (Lawrence) McGonigle and Guy (Ann) Basil in addition to her nieces and nephews, Robert, Nicholas, Christopher, Jessica, Larry, Kelly, Ryan and Skylar.

She is predeceased by her fiancé, Andrew Van Denameele and we take comfort in knowing they are once again reunited in heaven.

Jackie was a warm, fun and caring person who loved to be with and help others. She had many passions in life including music and her guitar, skydiving and knitting just to name a few. She also loved animals especially her beloved cat, Jasmine.

Jackie worked for many years as an Executive Assistant for various corporations both in California and Connecticut. She was also very talented at graphic design. Jackie was enthusiastically pursuing her degree at Mercy Learning Center.

Memorial services will be private and held at a future date.
