Jacob Nunez

Jacob Nunez, age 28 of Norwalk, passed away peacefully on August, 31, 2019.  Born on January 22, 1991, he was the loving son of Angel Nunez and Gisele Salgado.  Raised in Puerto Rico until age 15, he then lived in Norwalk and graduated from Brien McMahon High School.

In addition to his parents, Jacob is survived by his loving fiance, Priscilla Lopez, and her daughter Destiny, a brother, Angel I. (Cuch) Nunez, three half-sisters; Jainexaly, Ashley Nicole and Andrea Nunez, Grandparents; Raymond and Bienvenida Salgado, and Angel Nunez and Blanca Nielsa Rivera, and several dear aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jacob was a loving family man; he was strong and confident, warm and generous and had a great sense of humor.  He was an adventurous guy who enjoyed cooking, boating, fishing, kayaking, bowling and karaoke.  Most of all he cherished time with his family.  He will be forever remembered as a  wonderful son, brother, grandson, soulmate, father and friend.  Jacob was employed as Assistant Manager of Jersey Mike’s for several years, and will be missed by his co-workers.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Hoyt-Cognetta / Raymond Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street, In Historic Norwalk, CT.
