Inez Guzman age 72, of Norwalk, passed away on November 19, 2016 in Norwalk Hospital. Inez was born on October 11, 1944 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico and was a daughter to the late Feliciano Serrano and Paula Nieves. Inez was a Foreman at the New England Locks Company. She adored her family, enjoyed Puerto Rican Folk music and loved playing with her dog Nena.
She is survived by her loving sons, Luis and Orlando Guzman; a granddaughter Heaven Inez Guzman; her brothers and sisters, Sergio Serrano, Ana Luisa Hernandez-Serrano, Amelia Serrano, Esmeralda Serrano, Merquiades Serrano, Antonia Negron, Raul Serrano, Jose Serrano, Luis Serrano Raul Serrano Navarro, Carmen Julia Serrano, Rosita Serrano, and Estrella Serrano, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sibling, Olga, Maria Ernesta, Maria, Dominga, Primitiva, Lorenzo and Felicita Serrano. Her family will forever miss her sense of humor and witty personality.
Friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM in Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home. Interment will be Wednesday at Noon meeting DIRECTLY at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Ave. Norwalk.
