Holley B. Slauson

September 14, 1942 — August 7, 2020

The Reverend Holley B. Slauson II died after a long illness on August 7, 2020 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was born and raised in Norwalk, CT; the son of Holley I. and Frances Slauson. He is survived by his sister Sandy Charles of Southbury Ct and her family. He was a graduate of Norwalk High School, served in US Air Force and earned his BA at Western Connecticut State College and an MDiv from the General Theological Seminary in NYC. As a priest in the Episcopal Church, he served parishes in West Hartford, CT, Highland Falls, NY and Washingtonville, NY. Since 1998 he was the long time Priest Associate at St. Paul’s Church on the Green in Norwalk, where he was dearly loved for his warmth and wit. He worked for many years in facilities management at ASML in Wilton, CT. Burial will be private, due to the COVID pandemic, with internment in the Memorial Garden at St. Paul’s. When public gatherings for worship on a large scale are safe, there will be a celebration of his life and ministry at St. Paul’s. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St. Paul’s Church on the Green, 60 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06851.
