WILTON, CONN Helen Teresa Yuras died on December 24, 2011 at her home in Wilton, CT surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Albert P. Yuras, of Brooklyn, New York. Helen was born February 18, 1915 in Brooklyn, New York and spent her life being devoted to her family. She was a devote Catholic who truly believed "God in every day". She saw the good in people and was a kind and gentle woman. She loved reading, lilac flowers, the color lavender, Moonstruck and cookies. She will be dearly missed. Mrs. Yuras is survived by her four children: Paul Yuras (Fran), Emily Hamel (Bob), Mary Dwyer (Patrick); Katherine Ferguson (John); grandchildren Robert Hamel Jr, Erich Hamel, Michele Jaber, Kristin Dwyer and Christopher Dwyer; great grandchildren Elijah Jaber and Bobby Hamel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:45AM on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in Our Lady of Fatima, 229 Danbury Road, Wilton. There is no funeral cortege from the parlor - please meet us there. Interment will follow the Funeral Mass at 1:15PM in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, Long Island, New York. Memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County.
