Helen V. Kydes, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at the age of 86.
Born on September 30, 1939, in Kastoria, Greece, Helen lived a life marked by strength and devotion to her family. She found joy in caring for those she loved. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, faith, and love of cooking, baking and gardening.
She is survived by her children, Elsa, Mickey and George. Grandchildren, Athena, Eleni, George, Taso, Dimitri, Eleni and Christian. Great-Grandson, Apollo. Her sister, Roula Georgiou, sister-in-law, Olga Voultsiou and four nieces, two nephews and their children, as well as her sister-in-law by marriage Maria Kyriakides, one niece, five nephews and their children.
She was predeceased by her husband Andy M. Kydes, her parents Rev. Anastasios and Agapi Voultsos, her brothers, George, Mark and Damon Voultsos and her sister Catherine Bellos.
