JENSEN BEACH, FL / NORWALK, CONN Harold C Notzelmann, 78, died July 2, 2010 at Martin Memorial Medical Center, Stuart, Florida. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he grew up in Norwalk, graduating from Norwalk High School in 1949. After discharge from the Air Force, and marrying Agnes Arcamone in 1953, they moved to Redding CT where he and Agnes raised their family. They moved back to Norwalk in 1976 and lived there for several years before retiring to Jensen Beach, FL. Before retiring, he was a builder in the Wilton area. He was a veteran of the U S Air Force, serving in the Korean War. He was a Mason and Past Master of Ark Lodge 39 in Fairfield, he was a Lifetime Member of and had served as Commodore of the East Norwalk Yacht Club for several years. He was an avid fisherman and was a licensed Coast Guard Charter Captain. He also served on the Auxiliary Police force in both Norwalk and Redding. Survivors include his wife, Agnes Notzelmann of Jensen Beach, FL; daughters, Laura J. Notzelmann of Milford, Sally A. Patrignelli and her husband William of Norwalk; sister, Ruth Malkin of Brookfield and three grandchildren, William, Damion and Brandy Patrignelli and several nieces and nephews. The Notzelmann family will receive friends on Saturday, August 7, 2010 in NORWALK'S HOYT-COGNETTA FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 5 East Wall Street from 11:00AM to 2:00PM. Harold's Masonic Funeral Service will be held in the parlor at the conclusion of calling hours, 2:00PM. Services will be concluded with military honors. Interment will be held privately.
