Hannah H Bailey

May 31, 1969 — November 16, 2024

Hannah Hermia Bailey was a devoted mother, god mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She left this world too soon after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, November 16th, 2024, at the age of 55. She was born on May 31st, 1969 on the island of Trinidad and Tobago to the late Merle Phillips. Hannah spent her formative years there, attending high school at St. Joseph College, where she forged lifelong friendships.
Hannah migrated to Connecticut in 1991, where she embraced adulthood and created many wonderful experiences. She dedicated several years to caring for young children as a nanny before completing her nursing degree. She then found a way to blend her passions for nursing and childcare to support little angels. Over the years, Hannah also shared her expertise with numerous families through her work with elementary school children as a teaching assistant. Hannah's most important job was as Ellis' mother. She was his biggest advocate and nurtured his love for the great outdoors. She enjoyed sharing their many experiences with the Boy Scouts. Hannah’s legacy of love and compassion will forever be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Ellis Oscar Konyaole; her father Oscar Bailey; her sisters Juleann Phillip, LesleyAnn Bailey (Kenneth Adebonojo) and Roxanne Bailey; her niece, nephews and several god children.
