NORWALK, CONN Halina Kuperberg of Norwalk passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2011 in Norwalk Hospital, after being stricken ill. She was 63. Born in Lodz, Poland on October 6, 1947, Halina was the daughter of Jakub and Felicia (Gurfinkel) Gerszon. Halina is survived by her husband Olek, daughter Sandy and cherished grandson, Mason. She was an immensely kind and generous woman, and displayed a wealth of love of her family. She will be greatly missed. A Funeral Service celebrating Halina's life will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. Guests may start arriving at 10:30AM. Following the service, a reception will follow at a location to be announced. There are no calling hours or scheduled interment.
