Gregory Taylor

Gregory Thomas Taylor 47, of Norwalk, CT entered into eternal life on Friday May 22, 2020 at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Ct. He was born on February 6, 1973 in Norwalk, CT to Marveter McCoy and the late George Thomas Taylor.

Gregory, affectionately known as Greg, received his formal education from the Norwalk Public School System. He was a 1991 Norwalk High School graduate. It was there where he was able to showcase his talents and love for sports, mainly on the basketball court and football field where he was phenomenal in both respectively.

Greg’s life revolved around the two loves of his life, his daughter Amber and his Granddaughter Eden. There were no two people he adored more. He would light up at the mention of either of their names. He spoke about them with joy, sincerity and conviction. They unknowingly pushed him to strive for greatness. Being a dad and granddad were what he considered his greatest accomplishment in life.

Gregory is survived by his mother Marveter McCoy of Ct; daughter Amber Taylor and Granddaughter Eden Drish of CT, seven aunts, one uncle; five sisters and five brothers, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
