Gloria A. O'Neill

O ’ NEILL-Gloria A. O ’ Neill, 78, of Norwalk passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2017.  She was born in New York City on July 18, 1938 to the late Joseph and Angelina DiDio. Gloria was predeceased by her beloved husband William P. O ’ Neill.

Gloria enjoyed working throughout her life.  She began working as a secretary at an advertising agency in the 1970s and eventually went on to purchase it, forming O ’ Neill Advertising Agency. Gloria ran O ’ Neill Advertising for over 40 years, specializing in the luxury home market in Fairfield County.

Gloria loved art, music, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends.  She was known for her spontaneity, warmth, and wry sense of humor.

To cherish Gloria ’ s memory are her daughters, Brenna (Rick) Lusardo of Norwalk, CT, Tara (Omar) Moneim of Cincinnati, OH, stepson Terry (Virginia) O ’ Neill of Eagle, Michigan, brother Michael (Phyllis) DiDio of Norwalk, CT granddaughters, Sydney and  Micaela Lusardo, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Domenick.

The family would like to thank Dr. Paul B. Wiener and the wonderful and caring staff at DaVita South Norwalk Dialysis Center.
