NORWALK, CONN Giuseppe Annetta, a ten year resident of Norwalk, passed away peacefully at Norwalk Hospital on Monday, May 02, 2011. He was 65. Born in Arena, Calabria, Italy on May 28, 1945, Giuseppe was the son of the late Francescantonio and Raffaela (Sette) Annetta and attended local schools. He met and married his beloved wife of thirty-four years, Rosa (Domimelli) Annetta and emigrated to Stamford, Conn in 1974. He subsequently settled here in Norwalk in 2001. Along with his wife, he is survived by two brothers, Raffaele Annetta of Italy and Vincent Annetta of Southbury, CT; one sister, Elizabeth Pugliese of Stamford; nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Giuseppe worked for several companies as an industrial mechanic in the lower Fairfield County area until his illness. Giuseppe's family will receive friends on Thursday, May, 05 2011 in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street from 5:00PM - 8:00PM. His funeral will be held on Friday, May 06, 2011 at 9:30AM from the parlor, when the funeral cortege will proceed to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
