Gaetana M. Conte

Gaetana M. Conte (Nan), 91, of Norwalk, CT passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Carolton Convalescent in Fairfield. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Joseph and Maria Vitale Cafero.

She loved her family and spending time with them, was an avid reader, card player, and enjoyed traveling with her husband.

Nan is survived by her loving husband of 68 years Anthony D. Conte, her daughter, Theresa Zaffuto and her husband Richard of Norwalk, CT. Grandchildren, Kristin Harrington and her husband Daniel of Enfield, NH, Keith Zaffuto and his wife Shannon of Trumbull, CT as well as her great grandson Matthew Harrington.

Beside her parents, Gaetana was predeceased by her great granddaughter Annalee Rose Harrington.

Friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday June 28, 8:30 till 10:30 am in Norwalk’s Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am in St. Philip’s Church. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Norwalk.
