NORWALK, CONN G. Paul Brady of Norwalk passed away on Monday, April 20, 2009 in Norwalk Hospital after being stricken ill. He was 62 years of age. Born in Stamford on July 19, 1946, Paul was the son of the late George Blanton and Elizabeth V. (Wood) Brady and attended local schools. He served our nation in the United States Navy and returned back to Stamford in 1967. Paul met and married his beloved wife of thirty-nine years, Regina A. (Mulhall) Brady and lived in Stamford before moving to Ohio in 1986. He and his wife moved back to Connecticut in 1998 where they settled in Norwalk. He was an Insurance Agent and Sales Manager for John Hancock Insurance of Stamford for over ten years. Paul also worked for a security system company and cabinet maker in Columbus Ohio. He enjoyed conservative politics, reading and was an avid New York Yankees Fan. Above all, he was a private man who enjoyed the company of his loving family. He will be missed by all. Along with his wife, he is survived by his son, Demian S. and his wife, Patty (Ridsdale) Brady of Alexandria, Virginia; two grandchildren, Ian C. and Shannon E. Brady of Alexandria, Virginia; a brother Wilmont "Bud" Brady of Conn; a sister, Gail Finn of Westerly, Rhode Island and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death was a brother, Donald Brady. Friends and relatives may call to Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street on Thursday, April 23, 2009 from 4:00PM - 8:00PM. His funeral will be held on Friday, April 24, 2009 at 9:15AM from the funeral parlor, when the funeral cortege will proceed to St. Matthew R.C. Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrate at 10:00AM. Interment with full military honors will follow in St. John's RC Cemetery in Darien CT at a later date.
