Francesco Rinaldi

Francesco Rinaldi, son of the late Giovanni and Rosa (Somma) Rinaldi and beloved husband of Gina for 56 years passed away peacefully on January 19, 2022.

Francesco was born on May 26, 1943 in San Rufo, Salerno, Italy.  He was employed with Fiat in Turin, Italy.  He also worked at Burndy Corporation and Dolce Company in Norwalk.

Francesco and Gina immigrated to Norwalk, CT in 1972 where they raised their two daughters Rosa and Patricia.  Francesco loved to cook, spend time in his garden, enjoyed watching Italian soccer games and dancing the Tarantella at family weddings.  His greatest love was spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife and daughters, he leaves behind his son-in-laws David Crow and Joseph Roth.  His cherished grandchildren Joshua, Rachael & Jacob Crow and Aaron & Alexander Roth. His sister Rosa Modugno, several brother and sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to St. Philip's Church, 1 Fr. Conlon Place, Norwalk, CT to attend a Funeral Mass on January 24, 2022 at 10am. Entombment will follow at the St. John’s Mausoleum, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk.  Raymond Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangement.
