Emily C. Lemond

Emily Catherine Neuens Lemond age 87 of Norwalk, a former long time resident of Westport, passed away on July 13, 2017 at Norwalk Hospital.  Born in Fredonia, WI, Emily was the  daughter of the late Emil and Linda Eisentrout Neuens. Emily attended University of Wisconsin and began a nursing career in Chicago where she met her husband Louis F. Lemond. After raising her four children, Emily continued nursing at Silver Hill Hospital for over 20 years.  She was an active member of the Westport Women’s Club and avid Bridge player. Emily was a wonderful wife to Louis for 61 years and a loving mother to her children.  She was gourmet cook and loved travel to exploring new foods and cultures.

Survivors include a daughter Anne Taylor (Thomas), two sons, Louis (Janet) and Charles (Peggy); grandchildren, William, Robert and Giles Rekruciak (Joseph); great-grandson Logan Rekrucriak; sister Helen Neuens Karl of Milwaukee, WI.  She was predeceased by her husband Louis and her son Paul.
