Joseph Emilio Révolus, also known as Emilio, 79, passed away on April 18, 2020 of the Corona Virus, “Covid-19.”
Joseph Emilio Révolus was born in the town of Anse
D’ hainault of Carasse Haiti on October 19, 1940. He immigrated to Brooklyn, New York in 1976, he learned English and attended Brooklyn College where he obtained an associates degree in Secondary Education. He served in an official capacity as Community Liaison for the Board of Education until retirement through the Stamford Public Schools System. He was actively involved in NAACP, Board of Education, Red Cross, Urban League, Urban education coalition, Child Care Centers of Stamford, and numerous community organizations. For his many accomplishments, Joseph Emilio Révolus was presented a lifetime Pioneer Award, noting his tireless efforts to speak on behalf of others. Joseph Emilio Révolus facilitated means for Haitian and immigrant families alike to access the American Dream and for future generations to live it. Therefore, his passion for service, advocacy and community engagement continues in the legacy of his children and grandchildren.
Joseph Emilio Révolus is survived by his nine daughters, Pascale, Nadine, Feline, Patricia, Judith, Emmanuella, Diana, Karen, Emily, and a son, Jonathan, and thirteen plus grandchildren.
Joseph Emilio Révolus is preceded by his father Volus Révolus and mother, Seimilia Révolus and his siblings by Fede Revolus, Macquile St Preux, Eleonora St. Gilles, Elda Niclasse, Vesta Chimothe and Elfida St. Gilles.
