NORWALK, CONN On Saturday April 2, 2011 an angel was called to rejoice with the Lord. My loving mother and best friend, Elsie Rosario, passed away unexpectedly. Elsie was raised in Puerto Rico. She worked at Norwalk Hospital for almost thirty years, where she made many friends and touched many lives. Elsie was a breast cancer survivor and supported the Norwalk Hospital Cancer Walks. Elsie brought joy and laughter to everyone she knew. Elsie leaves behind, her mother Jovita Rivera, brother William Rodriguez, daughter Vanessa Rosario, son in law Jason Weller, and her three beloved grandchildren: Jason 12, Noah 10, and Cheyenne 8. Elsie will be greatly missed. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, April 06, 2011 in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street from 4:00PM - 7:00PM. Her service will be held at 7:00PM, following visitation and will conclude at 8:00PM. Additional services will be held in Puerto Rico. In lieu of flowers, to help offset any financial burden, contributions can be made directly to the family. HOYT-COGNETTA is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
