Elizabeth Tocci, a longtime resident of Norwalk, passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side, on January 29, 2015. She was a blessed 106 years old, born in Ireland on October 24, 1908 to the late Donal and Marie McGinty and one of 10 children. Predeceased by two wonderful husbands Owen McAndrew and Gus Tocci and daughter in law Madeline Macri McAndrew. Elizabeth leaves behind her devoted son Eugene McAndrew (Norwalk) and her two cherished granddaughters Jannae Gardy and husband James of Schenectady, NY, Tina Fatovic and husband Robert of Stratford, CT. Her 5 great-grandchildren Madeline, Kayla, Nicole, Victoria, and Josip also cherish her memory, along many nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A private burial is scheduled for a later date. Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street has been entrusted with arrangements.
