Elizabeth Anne Aviles of Norwalk, CT, passed away on December 25, 2025. She was born on September 7, 1967 in Bay Shore, NY, the second child of Joseph and Irene Marchese. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband Victor, her daughter Kylie, her older sister Marcy and younger brother, Frank, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews as well as great nieces and nephews from both her and Victor’s families. Liz grew up in Bohemia, NY, attended Connetquot District schools, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Education from St. Joseph’s College in 1989 and her Master’s degree in Special Education from Dowling College in 1992. She began her teaching career in New York City, eventually moving to Norwalk CT and becoming a teacher in the Stamford school district for the last twenty years. Liz always put the needs of her students above the constraints of the work day. In her leisure time, she loved to read and to watch the Food Channel on tv. She loved to bake and her cookies and brownies will be missed by her family as well as fellow teachers. Liz and Victor were married August 6, 2005 and became Kylie’s parents on December 26, 2008. Both these dates changed Liz’s life for the better. All those who knew and loved her will always remember her for her smile and her love of family.
