Elaine F. Mathieson

Elaine Mathieson, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on November 14, 2024, at the remarkable age of 93.

Elaine lived a life full of dedication to her family and friends.  A devoted daughter, she was a steady presence in the lives of her loved ones, always offering care and support. For 25 years, she worked at Stew Leonard’s, where she built lasting friendships and made an indelible mark on her colleagues and customers alike.

Elaine was predeceased by her son, Gary (Lillian) Mathieson, Sr., whose memory she cherished deeply. She is survived by her loving children, Nancy (Dan) Ferencz, Tom Mathieson and Bruce Mathieson; her cherished grandchildren, Gary Mathieson Jr., Tracy Mercado, Sandra Simpson, Tom Ferencz, Brett Mathieson, and Erin Coffie; and eight adoring great-grandchildren.

Her family remembers her as a kind, generous soul who brought warmth and laughter to every gathering. Elaine’s legacy of love and dedication lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
