DANBURY, CONN Edward Davis of Danbury, passed away on Friday, December 04, 2009 in Glen Hill Care and Rehab Center of Danbury, following a lengthy illness. He recently celebrated his 84th birthday. Born in Old Forge, Penn on November 23, 1925, Edward was the son of the late John and Margaret (Orshetski) Davis and attended local schools. Edward served our country during WWII in the United States Navy. He retired from the Veteran Administration after many years of service. He is survived by two nephews, Robert W. Davis of Brookfield and Edward G.Davis of New Fairfield. Honoring Edward's request, funeral services and burial will be held privately in Syracuse, New York. There will be no calling hours.
