Douglas Huntley Wyse

Douglas Huntley Wyse, 83, of Norwalk, CT passed away peacefully at home on March 8, 2022 surrounded by his loving daughters. Doug was born in Ohio, the youngest son of Roma (Huntley Brownell) and Charles Alexander Wyse.

He was a graduate of Michigan State University. Doug spent the majority of his work days as a Systems Analyst in New York City, and his weekends sailing on Long Island Sound.

Doug was known to have a twinkle of mischief in his eye, and a joke on his lips. He enjoyed sailing, photography, traveling, and classical music. He was a member of the Lions Club of Darien and a volunteer at Norwalk Hospital for a number of years.

Doug is survived by his children Laura (Bill) Trudell of Norton, MA and Tricia Wyse of Washington, D.C. and grandchildren Justin, Meghan, and Connor Trudell.

Calling hours will be held at the Raymond Funeral Home in Norwalk, CT on Saturday, March 26th from 2 to 5 pm with a memorial service at 4:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Doug’s name to the Lighthouse Guild ( donate.lighthouseguild.org ) or the charity of your choice.
