NORWALK, CONN Donna Marie Kearns, 56, passed away on August 29, 2011 after a courageous three year fight against breast cancer. Donna was born on July 30, 1955 in Queens, NY to Adolf and Elena Cedrone. She grew up in Astoria, NY with her three siblings, Susanne, Anthony and Eleanor. She was married in 1978 and had her first child in 1984. She moved to Norwalk, CT in 1990 to raise her family and flourished as a homemaker and mom. She loved children, music - especially The Beatles - long drives, people- watching, neighborhood walks and anything chocolate. It was these things combined with her tremendous sense of humor that kept a smile on her face and strength in her heart during her battle with cancer. She lived to be with her family and will be greatly missed. Donna is survived by her three daughters: Dawn, 26; Diana, 25; and Danielle, 21. Donna's daughters will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, September 3rd in the vestibule of St. Philip R.C. Church, 1 Father Conlon Place, Norwalk from 9:30AM - 10:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00AM. Interment is private. A special thanks to Honey Hill Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for their care in her final days and for arrangements made through Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory that will allow her to rest at Norwalk's Union Cemetery.
